I'm in the same market, looking for one I can jog with. The old walkman cassette has just about had it - lol. I just checked out the Sansa ClipZip but it does not support wav, just whats listed below (I only go lossless)

Supported formats
Include MP3, WMA, secure WMA, Ogg Vorbis, FLAC and AAC, so you can take your favorite tunes to go.

I don't have an mp3 player and that Sansa ClipZip is exactly what I'm looking for, except it only accepts SD cards up to 8GB. It it took 16GB cards I'd probably buy one today.

I have no experience with it, but the Sansa Fuze+MP3 player supports 16G and wav. @ $100 w/ accessories.

I checked out the Sansa Fuze+MP3 player. Can I assume "Audible files" are wav? Here are the spec's for it below >>

"In addition to MP3s, the Sansa Fuze+ MP3 Player can play WMA, Secure WMA, OggVorbis, FLAC, and Audible files, as well as AAC for DRM-free iTunes music. High-quality files will keep their fidelity, and you won't need to spend time converting files before loading".

Audible is an audiobook format.

From the SanDisk page:
“Audio: MP3, WMA, Secure WMA, OggVorbis, FLAC, WAV, Audible, Podcasts, AAC/M4A (DRM-free iTunes songs)

Photo: JPEG, BMP, TIFF**, GIF**, PNG**

Video: H.264, MPEG-4, WMV, Flip Video™**Sansa Media Converter downloaded through the firmware updater. See our Sansa Fuze+ Support Page.”

(Amazon states same. B&H specs don’t list wav.)

I though it took at 32GB card. Check again.

I'm thinking about getting one just cuz it's such a bargain (and because it plays FLACs!)

one more question since I've never had an MP3 Player, does it play gapless between tracks? It would be worthless to me if it didn't.
the Sansa Fuze+MP3 player looks good, I may order it thru my debit card

(I was a cash friendly only guy before last year)
